TRC Ultimate Frisbee
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Ultimate Frisbee is a fast-paced, non-contact team sport that combines the aerial passing skills of football with the non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer and lacrosse.
At the core of the sport is the concept of Spirit of the Game. According to USA Ultimate, “Ultimate relies upon a spirit of sportsmanship that places the responsibility for fair play on the player. Highly competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect among competitors, adherence to the agreed upon rules, or the basic joy of play.”

SPRING CLINICS
In the Spring, we hold a clinic for middle school students and fifth graders.
Time
5:30pm - 6:45pm (5th - 8th grades)
Dates
Typically the spring clinic runs for 9 weeks starting in late March.
Location
Forge Park - Lower Field - 420 Schwartz Avenue Baltimore, MD 21212, located behind Giant (accessible from York Road)
Equipment
Cleats or sneakers. We will provide discs.
Cost
$60 per player
HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TEAM (SPRING ONLY)
In the spring Towson Rec fields a high school girls team coached by a local club player. The team practices once a week and plays against other teams in the area.
Dates
Typically the season runs from mid February to early May.
FALL CLINICS
In the fall, we host two clinics in which players develop skills and play games against each other. The Tuesday clinic is for high school students, and the Wednesday clinic is for middle school students and fifth graders. All genders are welcome and encouraged to play, and no equipment other than sneakers or cleats is needed. We highly recommend that players are familiar with throwing and catching the disc before the clinic begins.
Time
Tuesdays 5:30pm - 6:45pm (9th - 12th grades)
Wednesdays 5:30pm - 6:45pm (5th - 8th grades)
Dates
Typically the fall clinic runs for 9 weeks, starting the first week of school for Baltimore County Public Schools.
